Trauma Informed Care, An Integrated Wellness Approach
Trauma Informed Care has become the hallmark for best practices for helping professionals. Trauma Informed Care is shifting perspectives from “What is wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Learning self care strategies helps to improve client and program outcomes, reduce staff frustration and burn-out, increase team cohesion and morale, and reduce staff turn over.
This class has three sections:
1) Trauma Informed Care – Defining Trauma, Neurobiological Responses, Trauma Responses
2) Impact of Trauma Work on the Helper – Vicarious Trauma and Burn Out
